Maj Gen Bainomugisha Urges Military Police Personnel to Uphold Professionalism and Integrity
The Commandant of the Military Police Brigade, Maj Gen William Bainomugisha, has called on newly trained UPDF Military Police personnel to execute their duties with professionalism, integrity and impartiality after 316 personnel successfully completed the Military Police Level III Course in Masindi.

The Commandant of the Military Police Brigade, William Bainomugisha, has urged newly trained Uganda People's Defence Forces Military Police personnel to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during training with professionalism, integrity, impartiality and dedication in the execution of their duties.

He made the remarks while officiating at the pass-out ceremony of 316 UPDF personnel who successfully completed the Military Police Level III Course Intake 19/26 at the Military Police Training School in Masindi.

“The knowledge and skills you have acquired during this course should be reflected in your conduct and performance. Execute your duties with professionalism, integrity, impartiality and dedication as you uphold the values of the UPDF and serve as role models worthy of emulation,” Maj Gen Bainomugisha said.

Maj Gen William Bainomugisha commended the Commandant of the Military Police Training School, Bernard Mugwanya Kisule, as well as the instructors and support staff for their dedication and commitment to delivering quality training.

He noted that their efforts continue to contribute significantly to the transformation, discipline and professionalism of the UPDF.

For his part, Bernard Mugwanya Kisule urged the graduates to effectively apply the knowledge and skills acquired during the course while carrying out their duties in the field.

He cautioned them against making avoidable mistakes and encouraged them to remain disciplined and focused in order to accomplish their missions successfully.

Lt Col Mugwanya also thanked the UPDF leadership and the Joint Staff Training and Doctrine for their continued support towards the successful conduct of the course. He further commended the instructors for their commitment, resilience and hard work throughout the training period.

The pass-out ceremony underscored the UPDF's continued investment in professional military training and capacity building aimed at strengthening discipline, operational effectiveness and service delivery within the force.

The ceremony was attended by commanders from the Military Police Brigade, the Division Political Commissar, instructors and other invited guests.
